Truckee Hoteliers gathered for the quarterly Truckee Hotelier Meeting on Nov. 30, 2022 to network with other attendees, share lodging updates and trends, and listen to presentations from Town of Truckee, Truckee North Tahoe TMA, and Visit Truckee-Tahoe.

Meeting Notes
After speaker presentations, attendees were asked to give Visit Truckee-Tahoe feedback about Tourism Industry and lodging needs and the current visitor center.
- When asked about a Signature Truckee Events Calendar, all attendees were in agreement that a calendar of Truckee events would be helpful for hoteliers and guests.
- Hoteliers gave feedback on the Truckee Visitor Center, stating that years ago, the Visitor Center was a source of some lodging referrals. Not so much in recent years.
- Hoteliers suggested a Truckee Presentation for Hotel Lobby Screens. The presentation (slides or video) would play on a loop on monitors and TV displayed in the hotel lobby. Presentation should include things to do in Truckee, seasonal specials, upcoming events, etc.
- Hoteliers reported Visitor Maps are frequently requested by guests. Suggested producing pocket-sized, foldable map like ski areas with no ads. Map could be of trails, downtown (restaurants, shops, parking), where to walk your dog, etc.
