READ CAL TRAVEL YEAR-END BRIEF on final outcomes of bills CalTravel.
Update: The California legislature adjourned on August 31, 2024 and the Governor acted on bills by September 30, 2024. Governor Newsom received 1,206 bills; he signed 1,017 and vetoed 189 (15.7%). Every bill we actively opposed failed to make it to the Governor. Since the two-year session ended on August 30, there are no active bills that we are monitoring. The new two-year session starts January 6, but we won’t know what proposed bills are out there until the February 21 bill introduction deadline.
