Visit Truckee-Tahoe convened Truckee Hotel General Managers at Hampton Inn & Suites for our Spring/Summer Hotelier Managers Meeting on June 5, 2024. The meeting provided Hotel General Managers the opportunity to network, share updates from the winter, learn about Visit Truckee-Tahoe, and hear about local updates that affect the Truckee lodging industry. Truckee Hotel General Manager meetings are held quarterly.

Town of Truckee
- Town of Truckee REBATE program for upgrading commercial lighting - there is a $50 rebate per fixture for up to 50 fixtures for commercial buildings. Up to $75 per fixture, up to 8 fixtures ($600 max) for residential.
- Town of Truckee GRANTS for installing water stations in your property are available. The Town of Truckee is providing grants to reimburse 50% of a water filling station purchase price (up to $2500 per unit) with a maximum of 5 units per applicant.

- Truckee returns to one lane on West River until 6/21, then two lanes until Labor Day. We will get beautiful streetscaping and a new riverfront park.
- Cal Trans I-80 construction repairs will be just as heavy as last summer. We will post Friday updates when/if we get them from our key contact.
